HEPURE^sm has announced the results of bench-scale testing of a proprietary zero-valent iron material, HC15™, in reducing carbon tetrachloride.
HEPURE’s HC15™ material is a proprietary engineered material with enhanced reactivity designed for difficult-to-remediate contaminants. This premium grade ZVI material is produced using an innovative manufacturing process which results in particles possessing a high density of reactive sites. This is achieved by optimizing specific particle size classification and by controlling and manipulation of a proprietary combination of alloying elements within the structural matrix of the iron powder.
